Background
"Drunk" incorporates elements from 1990s R&B music. "Drunk" usually sounds like something resembling a slowed down version of R. Kelly’s ‘Ignition (Remix)’.[3]
The idea for the song came about when Zayn wa working with the Hannides and one of them was telling him he'd just been to a music festival where everybody had got wasted.
Zayn took the vibe into a more downtime space and "Drunk" became a song for home, but inspired by what happens when you go out.
